Our story

Real trails, real friendships

Since 1986 we’ve been guiding small groups through Europe, South America, Asia, the Caribbean, and Africa. We handle every detail, from flights to hotels to meals, so all you have to do is show up and walk.

Because we’re a small, family-run company, we get to know our guests as friends rather than clients. Some 70% of our travelers come back year after year, and we couldn’t be prouder of that.

Maddalena Molino

Founder & hike leader

Maddalena spends half the year hiking alongside our guests, but by the time you meet her on the trail she’s already booked your flights, your hotel, and your holiday extensions. Her passion for hiking (and gelato) is infectious.

Robert Eschenasi

Hike leader & trip researcher

Besides leading hikes, Robert manages our travel insurance and does all the research for exciting new destinations to add to the program. When he’s not on the trail, you’ll find him on a tennis court or training in Krav Maga.

Sheila Parry

Hike leader

Sheila joined us in 2011 and quickly became a favorite, now leading our Camino de Santiago, Iceland, and Turkey holidays. She’s just as comfortable in dancing shoes as she is in hiking boots.
